Vanden Recycling is on a mission to become the world’s largest recycled plastic commodities company. Headquartered in Hong Kong, the company approached us in 2018 seeking to establish a UK base for their European expansion.

Dissatisfied with their website, they needed a marketing partner to kickstart their growth journey. This was our gateway into getting involved and led to a mutually beneficial relationship between our two companies.

Our Solution

Our scope of work began by redesigning and developing their website. This was as a pivotal step in their journey towards establishing a robust online presence and expanding their brand reach. The previous website did not accurately reflect Vanden’s mission, values, or offerings, potentially hindering their ability to connect with their target audience effectively.

Next, our strategy focused on expanding their brand presence in the UK and Europe while driving lead generation. Leveraging social media, particularly LinkedIn, and targeted email campaigns, we engaged their diverse audience. Trade PR and speaking opportunities bolstered their industry authority, while inbound marketing tactics drove website traffic. We prioritised customer insights, spending valuable time with Vanden’s sales teams to understand their audience intimately.

Outcome

Today, Vanden stands as a leader in its industry, operating in nine countries across three continents. Despite global challenges like the pandemic and shipping blockades, our efforts have propelled their brand reputation, following, and customer base. Vanden’s metrics continue to rise consistently. 

  • LinkedIn – Increased page followers by 16,200 over 5 years 
  • Email newsletters – 6,400 subscribers  
  • Single white paper – 506 downloads including major automotive and retail brands, sustainability and environmental charities, plastic manufacturers and converters, recyclers and global waste management firms.
